At that Eve of the Nativity, Sweet Bruhver was living in Alabama, working at a local movie house. His immediate family was able to see movies for free. So I pumped the milk from my breasts (as Lina was a teeny suckling, spending a few hours with Nana and Poppy) and Chris, Sweet Bruhver and I went to see "Titanic".
There is death and dismemberment. There is the human experience, and the folly of man. Vanity, vanity! All is vanity! But what do I remember my Sweet Bruhver leaning over and whispering to me whilst the movie played?
"Hello, Oscar for costume design!"

love love that dress. She was wearing that in my fav scene where she tries to kill herself and she feels like nobody is there to pull her back. So romantic!!!
That is so funny.
I love that movie. I know lots of people really hated it, but I sob like a baby every damned time I watch it.
Wow. I was so gay at 19 years old.
And the sad thing is that they say we don't change, we just become more of who we are.
Can you imagine how gay that means I am now!?
As gay as your Sweet Bruhver was even then, he must have been a real flamer in kindergarten.
Hey AZ,
Just wanted to say that I just read the most fabulous book!
It's called "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer. Check it out.
