I think I just may win the mama of the year prize for this one. The kids and I were grocery shopping and Lina was crossing the things off my list as we threw them in the buggy. I asked her to tell me what all was left. She read everything aloud, but then muttered "tampons" where only we could hear. Huck then said at his normal 25 decibels, "Oh yeah, those things you put in your coochie when you're on your period".
Nice.

Ah, don't you just love those warm fuzzy moments in the middle of public arena where your children prove they are your very own? Makes you get weepy, don't it? Bet yo' moma laughed about that one!
hahahaaaaa that is so funny
Oh, that is funny. It reminds me of a story...When I was pregnant with the youngest, my oldest was 4.5 years old. I would take her to my doctor's appts and she loved it. She was proud that she was getting a brother or a sister. Well, we were in the doctor's waiting room and Tae announced loudly to everyone who was listening that "My mommy's going to have a sister and it's going to come out of her pee pee!" OH YES, imagine my horror...LMAO!
I love it.
Look at it this way, maybe he won't be one of those husband who are terrified to pick up items for you while they are at the store.
A few months ago, sitting in the shopping cart while waiting in line to check out, Nash looked down at his shirt, patted his chest, and told the complete stranger waiting in line behind us,
"This my nipples!"
Oh, I had totally forgotten about this. I don't know if you worked at the day care center when this happened but I'm sure you remember Larry S.
He must've been about Huck's age when this happened:
Myra, another teacher, confiscated a tampon Larry had brought in and was showing the other boys. He thought it was a giant firecracker! I can't imagine why he thought his mom was keeping giant firecrackers hidden in the bathroom closet!
She was mortified when Myra told her about it.
Too funny!

You'll never need another tampon again, and never have another moment like this again. And hey! It's environmentally friendly. lol
