6 random things about me

1. My hair is so curly that it's 4 to 5 inches longer when wet (nearly to my waist) than when dry (just grazes the bottom of my shoulder blades).

2. I put either jalepeno peppers, crushed red peppers, or Tabasco sauce on nearly everything I eat.

3. Unlike most of the Northern Hemisphere, summer is my least favorite season. I wish it only lasted for about a month. I suppose I get an opposite version of Seasonal Affective Disorder, called RSAD, because all that sunshine makes me blue.

4. I have watched the North and South mini series from the 80s (starring Patrick Swayze and James Read) so many times that I can nearly quote the entire 10 hours of it word for word.

5.I have never lived in any state except Alabama.

6.I have no personal attachment to a vehicle, so I will drive whatever I have until it is completely dead and ready for the junkyard.

Well I don't share much on this list. Summer is also my least favorite season ... I hate to be hot and sweaty. I don't care what my car looks like so long as it runs.

But my hair .. my hair is as straight as a pin ... its so straight perms have been known to not take.

LOL

I loooove N&S. It's why I was already on the Swayze bandwagon before Dirty Dancing.

Deathmatch: Ashton vs Virgilia. Who would win?

Oh, Ashton would totally win.

Question: Was Gregory's hair curly before it fell out?

Comment: I don't like summer, either. The heat and humidity do me in. I like the sunlight well enough, but close to the solstice it's just too much. So I stay inside in the air conditioning. Why do we live in The South if we can't stand the heat? You're in 'Bama, I'm in SC. Oy.

java, Sweet Bruhver's hair has never been curly.

As for why I live in the South? Well, I was born here and am just waiting until I can move to Scotland, once I get rich :-)

Oh, yes!! I want to live in Scotland! Until then, though, I have my sights set on Charlottesville, VA. I've never even been there, but I'd sure like to go. (oh oh oh oh oh, ...)
(Extra bonus points for intentifying that last line)

Is it "Mexico" by James Taylor?

I am with Mama Kelly...hair so straight I have paid big bucks for curl and come home with patches of straight highway.

And you must be one hot mama through and through...adding heat to all your foodstuffs...my nose runs at the mere sight of hot peppers.

Humidity sux any way you slice it...Am I right, Gregory?? In Chicago...we KNOW humidity all-righty.

My first new car purchase was a 1990 Honda Civic Si hatchback in Cerulean Blue. We sold it in 2003 and I cried. I loved that car and still miss it to this very day. In fact...a moment of silence, please.
