TDB and I were talking yesterday about physical attraction and beauty and how it seems that we are often attracted to the same physical types as we are. For example, TDB is tall with blond hair and blue eyes and a tan, and he likes tall, blond, blue eyed women with tans.

When a man catches my eye, he usually has dark hair. If his eyes are contrasting (gray, blue, green) all the better. Facial hair is a MUST.
Gerry Butler is my main squeeze. He meets all of my requirements. I would betray my wedding vows for him.
When a woman catches my eye, she always has long hair and it's usually curly. She's also either a brunette or a redhead and she is fair skinned. They look like what I want to look like.
These three are nearly enough to make me bat for the other side.

Ewww...Lessssssbians. Gross.

LOL! :)
I second the Gerry Butler. The man is Goooooorgeous! I'd do him too...married or not. And the facial hair is yummy.
I guess it's true on the "we like similar." I am a brunette with blue eyes. I like dark-haired men with lighter eyes. It's funny...my husband has brown eyes. Hehehehe...
Have you seen "P.S. I Love You?" You will love GB in it. I like dark-haired men with lighter eyes too. My first love was dark haired with green eyes. My husband HAD dark brown hair and has blue green eyes. Now I must love a man with snow white hair.

I've never liked facial hair ~ on men OR women. And Ewww...boys!
very nice choices indeed!
Not to nit-pick, but the girl doesn't have to be tall. When all is stripped away cerebrally and I am just running on the good ole primordial lymbic system, I could probably do the 'Boar-hog Grind' with just about any girl with a pulse, especially if Tequila is involved. Still, you are correct on nearly all of my other preferences. The 5*-B's I call them:
Blue eyes
Blonde Hair
Big Boobs (double B!-actually double anything is usually good in theis category)
Browned (lightly) skin
and
Brains (they're not just for breakfast anymore)
*extra credit points for B #6, being a British accent!
I really like to think that other than the usual suspected reasons (or excuses: Narcissim, scarcity, scandal, or security) given for our preferred partners in the mating we do, that prevailing pop culture during our formative years has an important impact also. So, if you think about it, I am not really being vain or narcissistic with my preferences, I am just a product of being constantly exposed to Christie Brinkley, Charlene Tilton, Linda Evans, Kelly LeBrock (see B#6), and Linda Carter (see lassoing ability and invisible jet) when I was younger.
