I had 4 exams yesterday, and four assignments due today. Then I am done until next Tuesday, when I have to present my Clinical packet and Power Point. Then I will be an official college graduate, with R.H.I.T. after my name.
For those of you wondering, here is the latest job hopes and dreams update: The lady whom I hope to replace has been offered the job at MegaHospital. She has a magic number in her head for salary and she is waiting on Human Resources at MegaHospital to call her. If she is offered said magic number, she will take the job and I will get the one I want! So, I am desperately hoping she gets her magic number.
FWIW, I have a magic number too, but I will take any job offered whether I get that pay or not. Until I have experience, I am a beggar, and we all know what beggars can't be...

Congratulations, sweetie! I know that is a big weight off your mind to be through with all the studies etc., I will think good positive thoughts for you on getting that job.
Cool!
--I wonder if it would be possible to project an image of confidence rather than desperation. Maybe they don't have to know that you will take any salary. That would just be our own little secret.
Hmmm....that was just a thought that came to mind, though I'm not attached to it. I suppose it might be useful.
=)
Preach, child! In one week from Friday, I am free as a lark.
FWIW- I agree with tenore. Hold out/negotiate for the best you can get, and then, if it's not your magic number, say that you'll go under salary because you believe so strongly in their program.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Sending prayers and good wishes your way! :)
Congratulations! I remember the pressure of finals and papers - so long ago.
May that lady get her desired salary and you get your desired job!
P. S. My daughter gets her M.S. degree in two weeks.
